A long established Kung-Fu and Kickboxing Club in Stoke has introduced a new class aimed at helping women to feel more confident when out and about.
The new self-defence, fitness and kickboxing class is £7 per person and takes place every Wednesday at 7.45pm at their new gym and studio space at Spode Works.
Head Coach Bob Parkinson says: “”Through kickboxing, you will improve your self-defence skills and awareness. You will gain extra confidence and reassurance when out and about, as well as the all the fitness benefits”.
The class is suitable for beginners and attendees will gain confidence in a comfortable environment of like-minded women from all walks of life.
Bob continues: “We’ve got a great mixture of participants here, from all backgrounds and professions. It’s a lovely group and we’ve got something for everybody who is interested in martial arts and their overall fitness – so if you like the sound of this class you can take a look at our timetable to find more classes”.
